On May 9, our partners “Ukrainians of Luxembourg” (LUkraine) presented the virtual exhibition “War Up Close” at Europe Day in Kirchberg.
LUkraine is an association founded by Ukrainians in Luxembourg in 2014, organizing cultural and educational events, as well as demonstrations and rallies to show solidarity with Ukraine, raise awareness about the ongoing war, protect human rights in Ukraine, and raise funds to help people affected by russian aggression.
During the event, the LUkraine team used virtual reality glasses to show festival guests panoramic videos shot by the “War Up Close” team in Ukrainian cities destroyed by russian missiles.
In addition to hundreds of Luxembourgers, the exhibition was attended by ambassadors of European countries, members of the European Parliament, and the Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
We remind you that a few weeks earlier, the virtual exhibition “War Up Close” was held in San Diego and Los Angeles.
