Founded in 1936, School No. 134 in Kharkiv has held a specialized status for studying the German language since 1961. The three-story building housed spacious and bright classrooms where students studied, learned new subjects, and interacted with one another. However, due to the cruelty of war, this beautiful structure was destroyed, becoming a witness to tragic events.
On the morning of February 27, 2022, the first special forces units of the enemy approached Kharkiv, attempting to advance towards the city center. One of the combat groups reached the empty Kharkiv School No. 134 on that day. But the old building with wooden floors and stairs quickly caught fire and burned down.
The war-scarred Kharkiv Specialized School No. 134 became a deadly trap for several dozen Russian special forces.
