Exhibition “War Up Close” on the Walk of Fame in Los Angeles

On April 12, on the tenth anniversary of the announcement of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in Ukraine, the “War Up Close” team once again presented their project in America. This time within the walls of the legendary Chinese Theatre, where Hollywood premieres take place. The exhibition took place as part of the Cultural Diplomacy program of the Stand With Ukraine foundation with the support of the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco.

The event was attended by many American students, tourists, European diplomats, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Oleksandra Matviichuk. Using VR technology, they had the opportunity to walk through the streets of destroyed cities: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia; feel the devastating consequences of the Russian genocidal war and realize how resilient and steadfast the Ukrainian people are.

In addition, the team sent cardboard viewers to Washington congressmen. Simply by connecting them to their smartphones, politicians will be able to see panoramic videos of the consequences of the war in Ukraine and, hopefully, make the right decision to assist our country.
