“War Up Close” showcased immersive videos of Russian crimes at an exhibition in San Diego

On April 15, the virtual exhibition “War Up Close” was hosted by the House of Ukraine and Shield of Freedom in San Diego. This is a global community that promotes international awareness and intercultural understanding through organizing a wide range of programs geared towards students.

“The flow of visitors was so intense that all the VR headsets ran out of battery by the end of the day! We must come back here again because people are really eager to see the real situation in Ukraine and support the bill to aid our country”, commented Mykola Omelchenko, a photographer for “War Up Close.”

It’s worth noting that last week the team also organized a virtual museum “War Up Close” at the Hollywood Chinese Theatre.

We thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine for their support.
