The Makariv District Cultural Center, built in 2009, served as a hub for creativity, leisure, and cultural development for local residents. This modern facility became a true symbol of cultural life in Makariv, Kyiv Oblast.
However, on March 12, 2022, the residents of Makariv witnessed a horrifying event when a multiple launch rocket system “Hurricane” left behind devastation. The attack damaged a medical center, a kindergarten, and numerous residential buildings, including the finest cultural center in the region, the Makariv District Cultural Center.
Rebuilding this irreplaceable cultural hub in the town of Makariv requires a substantial amount of funds, estimated at over 205 million hryvnias.
The work on 3D digitization was performed by the Ukrainian company AERO3D.
