On the outskirts of Kyiv, in the village of Buzova, the wreckage of a Russian T-72B tank has been discovered.
The battle for Kyiv became an integral part of the offensive operation for Kyiv during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. The objective was to gain control over the capital city of Ukraine and its surrounding areas. Military units of the Russian Armed Forces and Ukrainian Armed Forces were engaged in the conflict. The battle commenced on February 25, 2022, and lasted until April 2, 2022, concluding with the withdrawal of Russian forces.
