The “Ukraine” Hotel, with 90 rooms, was opened in the center of Chernihiv in 1961. For 60 years, it welcomed guests and was a symbol of the city.
On the night of March 12th, the Russians destroyed it by dropping a 500-kilogram aviation bomb FAB-500 onto the building. The roof and walls of the hotel collapsed, windows were blown out. According to architects’ assessments, the structure is not suitable for restoration.
The work on 3D digitization was performed by the company LibanCiel.
